José Francisco Malavé [mah-lah-VEY] (born May 31, 1971 in Cumaná, Sucre State, Venezuela) is a former Major League Baseball outfielder who played with the Boston Red Sox (1996–1997).

In parts of two seasons, Malavé was a .226 hitter with four home runs and 17 RBI in 45 career games, after which he played in Japanese and Korean baseball.

Malavé was the third base coach for Venezuela in the 2009 World Baseball Classic.
